, people try to mix the message of Jesus when he was alive and the message of Paul. I believe, and I can be wrong about this, that there are 2 gospels in the new testament. The gospel of the circumcision (which is the gospel Jesus preached when he was alive, and he gospel he gave to the 12 apostles) and the gospel of the uncircumcision (which is the gospel given to Paul by the risen Jesus). They are not the same. People mix these 2 gospels and it leads to all sorts of confusion. For example people will look into the words of Jesus and try to time the rapture, Jesus never mentions the rapture! The rapture was not revealed until Paul.
