It's not difficult to actively hinder the voting process in some way, you could pop a few electrical transformers near a ballot counting post and all machines would cease function. Better yet, if some rando decided to pull a stunt like what happened in Nashville on Christmas before last, knocking out a data center, it would effectively keep vote counts from being transmitted to D.C. The system is far more fragile than people realize, yet I find it odd that the so-called ever-resourceful "extremists", never act at such opportune moments. It is almost as if they don't exist outside of schemes enacted by glowing federal agents...
