Is ACCESSIBLE CRAP just the future of the internet thanks to AI?
You can't see youtube titles anymore, they are automatically translated with no warning. Instead of instantly knowing what's in your language and what isn't, and being able to read stuff in english too or any other language you speak, you have to take the AI translation slop whether you like it or not.
But much worse: Voices are now translated too. You have to go through the options each time in order to get the actual audio. In shorts you can't even do that.
It's like they think everyone is a retard. And that more content = more money so why not just feed these retards a lot of the shittiest content imaginable? Just have AI translate it so everything is "in their language" and they'll multiply the audience for the same videos.
Reddit is doing the same. It lets you disable translations, but there's a lot of content that's translated with no warning and no possibility to see the original, and it's also translated by default.
I guess if most people are this fucking retarded in order to enjoy that content, then it is what it is. The absolutely shittiest content imaginable is already popular, so... It just wasn't forced on me before so I didn't care.
