nah, still going. some chess grandmaster started streaming and did an insane amount of networking thus convincing a ton of other chess players to stream and a ton of streamers to play chess. the big thing is that there's a huge tourney going on with like 16 streamers that are almost exclusively in the top 1k streamers including like 3 of the top 10.
tournament is complete with like 5+ title holding chess players to commentate the games 2 at a time and offer coaching to streamers on days they aren't playing
