They said nothing existed before God, do you ever wonder why God even bothered with the whole creation thing? I think he was lonely and wanted company.
The other way, is through gravity, they say the universe exploded into existence. It was a massive detonation sending particles across an empty void. The universe would have been just that then, nothing but particles, atoms even. But they clumped together because of gravity forming things. Alone, they were nothing yet together they became something.
I think that nothing ever wants to be alone.
