Which in all fairness is a good comparison but this is another case of confusion or regional variation. In the case of the Ba'al cycle Ba'al Hadad plays the role of Yhwh/Zeus/Enlil. He's even referred to as the son of Enlil. The original Sumerian myth does not fuse characters.
