I raise him through experience, and allow him to get hurt and take risks he can learn from.
He loves to move the lever on the bolt action that will be his one day, and while he does scream like a baby a lot, he's just so well mannered because he has an anthority figure. Unlike the wild animals of the single moms at daycare, he is universally loved by all the staff, they always forget the other kids names.
I'm still debating if I will try to bring his siblings into the world, just the thought of going through even an iota of that whole thing again is not appealing. Yet it's not about me any more, he needs a family.
