hmmm idk of course i don't have any concrete memories but i feel like we've used coffee that's even older than that and as long the machine is an espresso machine it produces crema. isn't crema just foam? what particular element of coffee dissipates with time that you wouldn't be able to get crema?
well yes of course. i can grind plenty fine, it's just that i can't make as fine adjustments as a better grinder can. one adjustment setting for me may be 0.01 millimeters coarser or finer while one adjustment for you may be 0.001 millimeters just as an example, i don't remember any actual values.
