Your going to struggle with things like wheel alignment or working on the ac. Look up the rope trick to align your wheels. Recently my ac compressor clutch went up and was stuck open essentially killing the ac in my car. It's actually more practical and almost as cheap to just replace the whole compressor and clutch than it is to rebuild the clutch.
The thing with jobs like tire alignment, putting tires on rims and an ac evac are they require tolls that are in the 10s of thousands of dollars (unless you do some Hankey redneck shit and risk getting freon on you).
I have a friend who owns a shop and was able to help me. So far by myself I've been able to replace sway bar links, fuel rail, throttle body, TCU, replace my passenger door, and replace many bushings in my suspension. I am by no means a mechanic but I find it fun.
Stuff I've needed help with were replacing an engine mount, ac evac, and an engine swap in my wife's car.
I've actually had a lot of fun working on my cars, very soothing working with my hands, even if I break a bolt or something.
Pic related, I was given one of these by an elderly neighbor for taking care of his house and dog. Gave it to me when he retired to Florida l. Had it since I was 19 has over 200k miles and still drives well. Need to replace the struts.
