Oh yeah for real, the fights are the worst part of this entire show. They are literally no stakes.

No strategy or show of power or anything interesting. Just a fight starts and stops which adds nothing at all to the plot.

Though the fight with Sayaka in the last episode is actually good but the goodness doesn't last long. The OG Madoka crew are the only reason myself and many others kept watching.
