>>17162638You're right. For big heavy duty fully loaded trucks there probably isn't any helmet that could save someone's head from being run over by that. Or if there are, then it's probably some super advanced polymers and stuff that currently only exists in laboratories or something.
Anyway, helmets do save lives against reasonable impacts/pressure so they're still worth it. They're not going to make you invincible, but this video here demonstrates where and how a helmet would have made a difference.
