All of that forces people to tolerate the shit of a tiny minority, thereby alienating them and destroying the cohesion of society. It seriously weakens countries, and the only reason why this is possible is because we in the West didn't have a war in our own countries in a lifetime.
How does war play into this? Imagine Russia would invade Western Europe. They have a relatively coherent society, they are proud of their country. I on the other hand wouldn't pick up a rifle to defend Chang and Ahmed and Mgumbo next door. Hell no! And neither would most of the rest of us.
