What if others say fuck it and then just murder you? There's no one to stop them. Society and societal instincts evolved for a reason. Society and it's rules evolved as a balance of individual freedom and independence and securing the existence of everyone in it the society (which used to be synonymous with ethnic group). The main problem is that a coherent group of people will always dominate smaller groups and individuals, so you have to organize together or someone will fuck you up because no one stops them. America after its founding is I think the example of the most advanced form of society but as you know that all went down the shitter.
