Functionally HIT is fucking horrendous and just a way to shill Nautilus Machines.
Strength building you want to push reps of 5ahve near failure and then progress next lift.
Hypertrophy you want to aim for 10-12 is reps and really aim for volume with your last set being near failure towards the end while still leaving some reps in reserve.
The main thing is food and driving progress through eating. Once you master that you'll fly.
