But half of the thread is wrong anyway since they are seeing + signs where there's any.
It has being over a decade since I last had a math class, but either way I recall that if there isn't any other calculation sign between a number and a fraction, assume a multiplication.
Then again, I wasn't the first one to post it, just got down memory lane and used myself with my interpretation of the 2 fractions.
