Renault just fired 2000 mechanical engineers as they are switching to electric cuck cars, which is mechanically literally 100 years technology.
Here’s how I see current status:
- American brands: cheap shit designed for lease for 3 years then switch, hopeless pick-ups (castrated van that rain will ruin your equipment or niggers will steal it). Tesla - epitome of söy boi car, totally unserviceable designed as product that you have to scrap as you get excited by next product
- European brands: some try to stay based (Italian supercars - although Italian quality they hold some don kichote sentiment), Porsche although selling stretched vw beetle for 50 years now, some of them are mechanically sound and have good performance, getting shittier every day
BMW getting on ‘product’ bandwagon - subscriptions for CarPlay, calling back to mothership when you dyno it. Imagine they were making such great cars once.
French cars, Volkswagen and Italian popular brands are shit and should be treated only as vehicles for welfare takers and cigans. Mercedes is shit those days and should be treated as glitch in matrix not a real choice. Saab was based but it was fucked by mutts from GM.
Japs were doing best cars in late 80 beginning of 90s main problem is that they are not zinc plated and rust like crazy, engines are still good. Nissan is shit and partnered with Renault. Which pains me the most as they did some good cars in the past.
Seems like Koreans are not bad now. Fucking Hyundai which was a laughing stock for years makes some pretty good cars now (the have bought designer from BMW and first thing he did was i30n which is pretty cool hot hatch).
