The number of the man. It means worshiping something than is manmade and not divine.
This started with the coronavirus. People no longer worship God, but science. Which is a religion man made in his image(foolish humans think their brain is strong enough to decode the universe). As we've seen with Marxism, even if you claim you're atheist, atheism is still a religion, same as Marxism and can create fanaticism in the same way.
Man has forgotten God. Man worships himself now. And science was the final straw. Man worships his own image on Instagram(idolatry), while social media rank people with numbers(likes). The new priest is the scientist. And preaches the word of man.
