There's low-profile cards if you need those, I got an Intel 2x1Gb one for like $30 back in 2017, I presume stuff like that is still on the market. If you're going to do wi-fi at all it's easier to get three ethernet ports somehow and plug in an access point instead of doing hostapd yourself.
