There's an acceptance that if you don't go to panels and you don't get down with the weebing out shit (cosplay contests, dances, etc.) then you'll need shit to do so we try to setup a lot of casual sit down and do nothing shit like rooms with just random anime on, different games to play both outside an inside (I use to run the Ninja ((don't ask)) group in utah) to keep people either doing something or watching people do something.
Usually it's just normal people dude. It's not a super freak convention but you will see a lot of people in cosplay because it's fun as fuck.
