Chill out bro. Stop letting people guilt you into being a trapped rat like they are. Enjoy being free. Sure it gets lonely occasionally but you can be even lonelier in a shitty relationship or a marriage too. Making friends for company IRL is easy enough if you take up a hobby or play a sport etc. You can always find anons on the internet to engage with if you are interested in stuff like coding or vidya. If you are smart then there is a price and it is often alienation. Ordinary NPC folks are pleasant enough if you don't give away your power level but you get bored of them pretty soon, and they probably won't like you if you are brutally honest with them about anything they are irredeemably propagandised and programmed about.
Life is overrated. It has no ultimate purpose other than to mindlessly reproduce yourself. So rather than dwelling on it, just find a bunch of things to distract you and keep you happy and occupied in the moment. I don't think drinking or drugs really improve things. There is lots of other interesting stuff to do on planet earth without them.If you can't find anything to make you happy then volunteer and help others worse off than yourself.That can be a great source of meaning and fulfilment
