Always in human history all civilisations encourage own males to to have relationship with women inside and outside own group. The same civilisations often ban relationship own females with males form other groups. For example muslim men can marriage christian women but christian men can not marriage muslim women. Chinese government send Uyghur males to prisons and encourage Uyghur females to getting marriage with chinese Han men. Uyghur females can not marriage Uyghur male because almost all males are in prisons.
It's because people identity is associated with father heritage. For example if white american male have kid with pakistani female. Kid probalbly will not be muslim and will indentifi himself as white american. But if pakistani male have kid with white american female then kid probably will be muslim and identify himself as pakistani.
