Imo, growing old is quite the trip. My dad passed away last week, sat with him 24/7 his last days. Lots of time to think and talk about becoming a man and growing old. Having lived somewhat wild young, paves the way to become a cool old dude.
I felt the weight of the torch getting passed down. Dad was the coolest, most chill dude, but he had experience to back up the chillaxed demeanor. I'm as old as he was when his parents passed, and maybe I still have a shot at becoming a cool old geezer like him.
