The only thing keeping Britain at the top is your unnecessarily large military which you use to colonize countries which produce valuable trade goods as well as to occupy strategic ports which allow you to control global trade routes. The moment a world war comes along (which it will), the British empire will fall and the power vacuum will be filled by one of your former colonies.
