pretty kinda has to have bigger meaning than just "you look 10/10" as almost everyone I know tends to say for person that is usually aclaimed to be attractive that they don't find them beatiful/handsome when they don't, they don't pretend they are "pretty" when they don't perceive them as such- they just say they look fine or okay
