If you're a materialist, then mathematics has to be material as well. In your view, the material world is non-conscious, consciousness is illusory, there is no freewill. If everything is just an ever changing, non-conscious physical process, then mathematics is also ever changing, therefore invalidates itself in a materialistic world view as truth cannot be ever changing.
