For the last 70 years, russias biggest problems weren’t invasions from the west, it was internal issues that are mostly the direct result of stalins regime and what came after. Yes, Stalin is a hero for defending his country with all measures necessary against a foreign invader. He is also a fucking shitbag who was often unnecessarily cruel and he destroyed his countries society. The US is an example of a country who has NOT reviewed its past crimes, who has NOT drawn consequences from it, and they are a militaristic society. They are garbage and killed many innocents in many countries (funny that people here never mention their banana republic shenenigans, probably an education thing). This does not give Russia a right to attack Ukraine after infiltrating it, starting hostilities (girkin says this himself) and starting a European land war in 2022. giving the entire reponsibility to the US is also an inherent vatnigger thing, because it strictly implies Ukraine and it’s people have no say or will in it. They are currently disproving this by being a complete contrast to the afghan national army who was purely under us authority and didn’t actually wanna be fighting for a independent country
