The purpose of machines, tools and technology is to improve the human condition, going beyond the capabilities of humans, to fix the flaws. A scalpel exists because our nails don't cut that well, and because the finger isn't steady nor precise enough.
A robowaifu is an attempt to make something that does the job better than a human woman, so you'd have the "companion" that does the job better and with less complications, and any complication you'll have is solvable and logical. Not only does a robowaifu improve the wanted qualities, it sheds the unwanted ones as well. The way I see it, for my personal purposes, to improve a woman you don't need to do more, but less - they have too much issues. Biological, emotional, logical, logistical etc.
Sex is kinda secondary - Just imagine robowaifu that can actually have an interesting convo with you, that could teach you stuff (math, philosophy, languages, chemistry, physics, investing etc), was cheering, funny, motivating, encouraging - a waifu who would think for you own best interest without hidden cunt-ish agendas, I'd could even "trick" you to do stuff that are beneficial for you, when you are procrastinating on levels unacceptable even to you, by using psychological tricks based on the general psyche profile uploaded to it. It probably wouldn't laugh at your jokes, but would never despise you.
