you get champions to place on your side of a hex grid then you get put up against a random one of your 7 opponents. the champions walk at each other and auto attack. auto attacks generate mana and when a champion reaches max mana max they cast an ability.
there's other stuff like champion drafting, economy, and items to put on the champions but the basic concept is just to get a bunch of the same few champions (since repeat units consolidate power) and then position them in the best way u can
