He cocked his head a bit and said, “Your job could be done with machines, couldn’t it... its obsolete in this day and age.” I replied that while this is technically true, there’s a reason that all the Native American contractors hire LaKeisha to be their office drones: if they didn’t offer those federal positions for $12/hour, LaKeisha couldn’t get a fucking job, and then she and her lot would burn more police cars, and they’d be chasing after guys like you with pitchforks; it’s a job security program meant to keep poor people from being too discontented.
