If they can afford it, couples will use the chance to make their progeny more competitive ... give them an edge from the beginning. Now many will of course act 'selfish' here and selecting for smart, competitive and maybe even 'ruthless' traits in their children will be a natural choice for many ... who will want to have children destined to be the betas of the society after all? Not many I tell you, even among the 'apostles of equality' who currently dominate the societal mainstream. The results will be ... interesting I think.
