This is how you make flour like primer material for your ammunition.
If you want to go further then you should Really take a good look at TM 31-210.

Try this one first, pic related.
Then find the actual book, also pic related.

Realize that you really need reagents (like distilled water) as either in analytical grade or at least in technical grade.
Also realize you need clean glassware and genuinely accurately guided (PID or better) hot plates and ovens.

Otherwise no dice but just a pile of good luck crap in your beaker.

Pic related. I actually made some if this stuff all by myself. In a lab. I was ofc assisted by the senior members of the Tech Students Fireworks Club. I am a member.

The issue and the "goal" here back then was about how to make working ammunition primer/cap compounds. For that I also studied TM 31-210, very carefully.
I believe I can come up with some today, all by myself, if Really needed. Otherwise ofc no.

This all happened years before "Heisenberg", quite honestly.

I made some three times. Clean technical grade ingredients and clean utensils are things I can't emphasize more. Ofc you won't end up with *massive crystals* but with a powder of the most awkward kind you never had before.

There are dumb guys who want to feel this powder and rub it between their fingertips.
You just lost your fingertips. You will also lose your pocket and the part of your body around that pocket.

If you want to make your own primer compounds then take a serious look at the TM 31-210.
I did. Can recommend.
