I've fond memories of Last Exile despite the Japanese cartoon itself is medicore and the later half of the 2nd (Which is kinda like spinoff one) is nothing great. my father and I used to watch it together whenever he arrives(rarely). I'm his 2nd & only daughter and he's a pilot, so it was quite literally weird to watch sometimes. It's the only Japanese cartoon I watch every year since my dad died of TBI-related accident. It may not be /pol/ approved ,but it's the only approved 'anime' for me.

Anime made me brother cross-dress once after watching a male character doing it. He also had temporary gay urges every time Vegeta and Goku unite.
