I’m dating a catholic who last week was denied confession rights for dating me, (An agnostic).
There’s no one here that can tell me it is moral, just or divine for a mortal man to have control over the destination of another persons soul. No matter what they do.
Someone “ordained” into a corrupt system by corrupt ‘divinely anointed’ individuals. It’s a form of willful schizophrenia almost.
Not one Catholic has given me a clear answer what “divinely conferred commission” means. I’m truly curious. Either, they don’t know what it means. Or, they don’t want to divulge the true meaning because it is so preposterous. I could be wrong.
It baffles me how such a belief system can still exist.
