If you have information, publish your paper, so it can be reviewed. It at the very least, seems as if God has grown old and died. How does he interact with the world? If you think this, surely this must be evidence.
I'll level with you, I hate atheists who use the void of God to pursue pleasure with reckless ambition. I'm not in support of some ruinous form of rationalism where I think that there is no spirituality whatsoever. However, I will call in to question its usefulness. Do you go to church? I go to church to take my grandmother because she likes it, and I enjoy listening to the message, if it is a good one. There is genuinely useful perennial wisdom swimming around the words a pastor speaks. But how can anyone take it seriously when clergy escape the wrath of public opinion when pedophilia is brought to light, only to find that these individuals where moved to another church? I seem to recall a portion of the Bible specifically mentioning that divorce is a major no-no, but I'd bet money half of the people in there have been divorced at one point or another. What's the point of having all these rules, if it doesn't matter?
It's not that I think that Christianity hasn't been useful, it certainly has, however, it will not survive the upcoming wave of nihilism. There needs to be something else substantial, if we're going to survive.
