ah yes, that's extremely fucking annoying. i don't know why listening to stuff on speakers makes that much of a difference, but it always has for me, assuming they're not laptop speakers which really are worse than nothing. i feel oppressed when i have to use headphones or earbuds but i feel like a strong liberated and emancipated woman when i listen to stuff on speakers.
it stays turned on longer but it turns off once enough of the alcohol has evaporated as to make the fluid mostly water and its boiling point becomes high enough.
