it's kinda funny. every week my mom buys me a bottle of wine from the grocery store. this week, she bought me an israeli wine, and i can't tell if it was on purpose, or she just picked whatever. i've never had it before, and i kinda feel like i'd be drinking the blood of jesus or whatever like they do in communion. maybe for your friend, you could make latkes together and spin a dreidel or something lol. that way you can keep the joke running, but also keep it between you two.
