>>9869643>Don't believe me then just lool at the stereotype of people who take psychedelics. Narcissistic hippies who are anti human. This is what I find highly intriguing about psychedelics. They don't seem to be as universal as many may think. Many report things like sense of unity and ego "death/dissolution". I never really felt anything like that. If anything my ego has gotten "bigger" due to it and I've put much more importance into finding out/defining myself and seeing the ego as an important thing. I also never experienced these so called "entities" that people tend to encounter. So called machine elves, dwarves or whatever it may be (Demons?). Never saw any of those and I've taken quite high dosages. Also so many people, that have taken them, are ascribing magical or profound properties to these drugs which I could understand since they are confusing to experience but not only for the first few times. I had a phase where I took psychs every weekend for almost half a year and it almost became boring i.e. normal. It simply something that changes the chemical balance of the brain for some time and introduces new chemicals into the mix, causing new and different brain activity. Sure such a thing could make someone more spiritual etc. since they're more open to such ideas in such a state of mind but many think that these drugs in and of themselves is something akin to "The Flesh of the Gods" or some nonsense like that. Those that take these substances should be more aware of what they actually are. Chemicals. Chemicals that change your perception and maybe thought pattern but not a magical or divine device which allows to peak into some secret or profound knowledge. It may just allow deeper introspection due to the way the communication in the brain is changed during the intoxication period of these chemicals but that's about it.
