Although fun fact I also have an equally strong claim to Irish citizenship. Irish citizenry IS jus sanguis, but all you need is to have had one Irish grandparent to claim it. I've got four plus both my parents so I'm covered, though I've never actually claimed it and don't plan to. I'm American.
