This is actually such a fundamental change from out evolutionary history that there is strong evolutionary pressure to preferentially give birth to girls. You can't expect your son to have children anymore now that women don't need to be monogamous. However, you can be certain that your daughter will have children. Thus, it will soon be literally written in our genes to produce more girls than boys. Future is quite literally female. Not because they really deserve it but because of socialism and birth control.
