I think this chart shows it well. The top is bant and bottom is s4s. Both are simular boards I'd say, least sharing enough qualities and also having a few embassy threads in past. But look how many more posters it says there are on bant to s4s. Now sure s4s is slower but is it not 4 times slower. There is no way there are at least 6000 different posters on bant monthly. The huge size difference is because pol threads get pushed here and then count to our population.
