Just had an idea for a movie. Using late 90s film cameras and lenses (for authentic early 2000s movie aesthetic) a movie about a hot dog stand somewhere in working class urban america (like new jersey) thats about to be bought out by a wendys. Slackers work together to bring their favorite hot dog stand in tip top shape, and through this helping their community and bringing everyone together. At the end Wendys is still too rich and going to buy them but it turns out one of the rich pensioners they made friends with, (with a down syndrome grandson they hired as a cook) is a hidden multimillionaire and she decides to pay off their debt and they get to keep their hotdog stand.
Its a feel-good early 2000s movie starring Justin Long
