Honestly, I wouldn't even be trashing it so bad if it just didn't have the chocolate chips in there. I'd be inclined to try out a melon flavored ice cream, that is assuming it really is melon and not strawberry, but, I'll just give it the benefit of the doubt. I'm eating melon right now and enjoying it, so, yeah, melon ice cream would likely be nice. Why not? The thing is, the chocolate chips being there is just an absolute sin against mankind, god, well, it might not even be chocolate chips, but I don't care, whatever has that color and texture to it, just doesn't go with the flavor of melon. It's likely just chocolate. Whatever. Just why? It would've been so perfect. The melon flavor would've been nice enough, but coupled alongside that gentle looking vanilla layer, it would've really been great. Maybe even the green layer, I mean, what if it really is pistachio? Let's say that it would've actually added to the experience. Just imagine that all of that together, then. That'd honestly be an above average plate of ice cream.
Of course, it's not possible, because they decided that they absolutely needed to add chocolate chips in there, cause otherwise it just wouldn't have looked exactly like a watermelon, boohoo. But again, they need to share it on social media, that's the whole purpose of making this thing. Fuckers. They probably just dumped it in the garbage after being done with the photo, that's what I imagine happening with every single one of these.
