the downside is that it needs to be in a straight line with him pretty much diving at the end to stop because of inertia and all that.
originally i cast haste on him because there were some hobgoblins holding knives to some hostages throats. we figured if he had enough speed he could just tackle the hobgoblin before it could respond to him coming which worked out.
after that the spell was still active and he saw two much tougher goblins in a line so he figured he'd just go as fast as he could and slam into them. turns out running into things at 90 miles an hour does a lot of damage. conveniently it also tore down a wall into a room that we were trying to get into earlier but couldn't
