Same thing with Persians and Greeks. The Greeks called their supernatural spirits daemons and the Persians wrote about destroying demons. It's like the Asura vs Deva dichotomy where one culture reveres their pantheon and villafies their cultural rivals pantheon as the enemies in mythological battle. That is what is happening in the Bible.
