So I'm thinking of moving to Poland. I'm pretty sure I've read before that if you can prove you have Polish roots that you can immigrate to Poland and become a citizen pretty easily. Is that true?
What should I know? I assume as a foreign national I would probably have to live in Warsaw or another large city. What is Poland like to incoming white immigrants? Especially Canadians. Are we well respected as a nation there? What kind of industry does that city have? Polish seems like a really difficult language to write, but a little bit easier to speak. Would I be able to get away with just conversation for the beginning, or are most of the signs/markings in Polish only?
I would probably like to be an English as a second language teacher to adults. Is that a viable option or are a lot of people fluent in English there?
Just asking some questions here I'll probably think of more as the thread goes on.
