>>9575127there's no way to hobble bitcoin. they can "ban" it, it won't matter. that'll just propel decentralized exchanges to the forefront (actually good for bitcoin). the math that is the blockchain of bitcoin can not be stopped. you can shut down miners, it won't matter, more miners in other parts of the world will pop up to fill the gap. the network effect is too strong. genie is out of the bottle, maybe they could have stopped it in 2010 but it's way too late now.
