People will start to look at WHY put bulls are so violent and dangerous, possibly in an attempt to specifically identify what exactly makes a pitbull a pitbull for a future ban. They will find a few hundred genes that are all highly correlated with attacks, and come up with a "gene probability model" of aggression against humans.
Canines are a perfect model organism because they have a complex social structure and also the ABILITY to be selectively aggressive (like against other animals or dogs but not people).
THEN, someone will think to try the exact same thing with humans. And that's when the fun will start...
