well sure i might be biased since my native language is eng and i'm studying jap, so the grammar gap is huge for me. i wouldn't really consider going うわあぁぁぁ!すっげ!かっけー!楽しい!"expressing myself." it's possible he can give his nuanced opinion on something, but that's off the back of already knowing a very very similar language as we've both observed.
it's a bit bad i used to watch this guy's videos sometimes but now i won't be able to enjoy them
