>infrastructure and building codesYou know, I never really thought about how much building codes change depending on where you are, at least in the US. I can obviously assume that Japan has different building codes than the US, but even US citizens can forget just how big this country is and how unwieldy its bureaucracy has to be, especially if it's to keep people and property safe.
