Idk, it should last for a while but if you don't think you're gonna finish it all you can freeze it. It's fatty enough that you shouldn't keep it frozen for more than two or three months though.
Depending on how you cure it I wouldn't keep it for more than a few days in the fridge.
If I get it at the store I just leave itin the plastic packaging after opening and it keeps fine upwards of a week but that's the hot smoked kind. Go by smell then taste I would say. If it seems suspicious then just throw it out.
